Job Limbo...Jimbo?

I still don't know if I have a job.

The county needs to place all excessed teachers before they can hire me. New hires won't start until after the school year begins.

I'm looking elsewhere and enjoying my extended summer vacation.
If it works out great. If not, something else will come along.

John and Eleanor started their new school and love it. We let them sleep in and pick the up at 3. We went to the local ice cream shop (not a local ice cream shop, but *the* local ice cream shop) and Eleanor was spotted by a classmate. The little girl (named Ella) pointed at Eleanor and yelled, "That girl goes to my school!"

The three kids had a great time sitting on stools at the ice cream bar. This was after Eleanor dropped her cone of rainbow sherbert on the floor.
